Caroline was born into the Belli Circus dynasty. Daughter of German elephant trainer Rudi Belli and Chinese acrobat Mona Kwok.
She started her professional circus career at the age of 9 in South Africa's biggest show, the famous Boswell Wilke Circus. Performing with her mother and siblings in a acrobatic contortion group act called the Kam-Tai Sisters. This act starred in some of the best shows in Europe from Norway to Spain. In 1980 she migrated to Australia with her family touring all over that huge continent. Caroline married Gary Brophy another circus artist and together continued touring in many countries with their skills.
